What’s on My Easel
I have been working hard behind the scenes, creating new residents, developing new stories, and continuing to build the world of Budderlee itself. Little by little, this village is becoming fuller, warmer, and more alive with each new personality that arrives.
On my easel right now are two residents who help fill important roles in Budderlee — Archie and Paul.
Archie is Budderlee’s much-needed barber, and I am so excited about him. He already has such a wonderful presence and personality, and I can see him becoming a lovely part of village life. He still needs a bit of refining, but he is well on his way and I’m looking forward to bringing him fully to life.
Alongside Archie is Paul, Budderlee’s dependable handyman. Every village needs someone with practical skill, a kind heart, and a willingness to help, and Paul brings exactly that to Budderlee. He adds another layer of warmth and purpose to this growing little community.
One of my favorite parts of this process is seeing how each new resident not only stands on their own, but also deepens the friendships, connections, and stories already unfolding in the village. With every new painting, Budderlee feels a little more complete.
There is still much to do, but I’m grateful for the work, the creativity, and the joy of watching Budderlee continue to grow.
