About Maisie’s Pie Shop
Tales from Budderlee
Maisie’s Pie Shop — A Village Gathering Place
Every morning, the delicious scent of freshly baked pies drifts through the streets of Budderlee, leading residents straight to Maisie’s cheerful little shop.
Olive was usually the first to arrive, carrying a basket of freshly picked apples from her orchard. “These ought to keep you busy for a little while,” Olive would say with a wink. “A little while?” Maisie would laugh. “You clearly haven’t met our customers.”
Walter and Arthur stop by after work to enjoy a slice of pie and talk about their day. Hugo Bear, the station master, has an uncanny ability to arrive just as a fresh batch comes out of the oven. “Perfect timing again, Hugo!” Maisie laughs. “Pure coincidence,” Hugo replies, already reaching for his favorite.
Maisie may be famous for her pies, but it’s the friendships, laughter, and familiar faces that make her little shop the heart of Budderlee.
The first shop painting in The Residents of Budderlee collection. Framed in medium shade, display stand and hanger provided. Finished size is approximately 11.5”x11.5”
