The story behind the painting

Created with layers of recycled magazine pieces and acrylic paint, this 24" × 36" mixed-media work brings a playful bulldog to life on stretched canvas. Bits of color, texture, and printed words build the background, with encouraging messages tucked throughout the piece for the viewer to discover. The result is a joyful portrait that celebrates personality, optimism, and the unexpected beauty found in repurposed materials.
